The Nighthawk Youth All-Skills Camps are specially designed to introduce younger players in Southern Arizona to the exciting sport of volleyball!!
The camp is specifically geared for players 14 and under that require a basic introduction to the game of volleyball. Ironwood Ridge head volleyball coach Bill Lang will lead the camp along with his coaching staff and current Nighthawk Volleyball players. In the off-season, Coach Lang is the Technical Advisor for Club Cactus Juniors Association, a local Junior Olympic volleyball club. Over the past four years, he has coached the club's 14-and-under teams and is considered one of the State's top coaches for this age group. In 2006, his 14-and-under team finished 17th (out of 102 teams) in the Arizona Region of USA Volleyball.
Ironwood Ridge Volleyball Camps are specially designed to create a positive learning environment for everyone who attends. The clinic's curriculum will focus on volleyball techniques such as serving, passing, setting, and attacking - along with team systems and development.
