Nighthawk Beach was completed in January 2018 for the Ironwood Ridge inaugural Beach Volleyball program which competed in its first season in the spring of 2016. The Nighthawk Beach Volleyball team tied for the 2017 Division I Section 5 Championship and prompted the need for a new home court for training and competition.

The state-of-the-art facility features four championship courts which contain 18” deep, beach quality, high-end sand. The volleyball program has future plans to add spectator seating, concessions, restrooms, as well as a new front entry.
