The Competition Skills Camp

JULY 20-23, 2026

MIDDLE SCHOOL SESSION: 9:00-11:00 AM
HIGH SCHOOL SESSION: 4:00-6:30 PM

Please note: 8th/7th graders may only register for the High School Session with approval from the Head Coach or Camp Director. Registrations without approval will be placed in the appropriate session.

 

ENTERING GRADES 5-12 IN THE FALL

 

Formally named the Championship Volleyball All-Skills Camp, this camp is specially designed to meet the needs of student-athletes entering grades 5-12 in the Fall and are looking for an opportunity to train with the Nighthawk Volleyball staff prior to the high school or middle school season.

  • Middle School Session: 8th Grade (Beginner Level) through 5th Grade

  • High School Session:  12th Grade through 8th Grade (Advanced/Intermediate)​

 

Both camp sessions will focus on all aspects of the game, with an emphasis on strong fundamentals and competitive team systems. Skill development will be emphasized during on-court instruction in the following areas: serving, serve receive, forearm passing, setting, attacking, team defense, serve receive systems, attack coverage, and team transition.

Campers will be placed in groups based on similar age and ability. The camp’s coaching staff is one of the most experienced in Tucson. The Ironwood Ridge Volleyball coaching staff will lead the camp, along with current club and college coaches and current Nighthawk Volleyball players. This camp is designed to expose athletes to a varsity-level practice environment and provides a great opportunity for players to improve their overall skill level just before their season and high school tryouts.

  • Monday:  4:00-6:30 PM

  • Tuesday:  4:00-6:30 PM

Camp Cost

  • $195 (if registered by July 1, 2025)

  • $220 (Late Registration)
