New Player Informational Meeting

The Coaching Staff will be hosting New Player Informational Meetings for all new (and returning) prospective players.

  • IRVB 2026 New Player Information Meeting:  Wednesday, May 6 at 6:00 PM

  • IRVB 2026 New Player Information and Tryout Preparation Meeting:  Wednesday, July 22 at 6:30 PM

The meetings will be held in the Library Lecture Hall (located under the mural at the Main Entrance) at Ironwood Ridge High School.  Head Coach Bill Lang will be available at the informational meetings to present details about the Nighthawk Volleyball Program, including program expectations, off-season opportunities, volleyball camps, team camps, pre-season practices, and the tryout process.

 

Members of the volleyball coaching staff, along with returning varsity players, will also be in attendance to help answer general questions from both returning and prospective athletes and their families.

 

Please note: Per AIA bylaws, our coaches are not permitted to have direct contact with prospective student-athletes until they have completed the 8th grade and/or the school year at their current school.  Once you are registered as a student at Ironwood Ridge High School, you are welcome to reach out to our coaches to learn more about the program.  In the meantime, the meetings and information provided below are intended to help incoming athletes prepare for the upcoming fall season.
